Size guide

A letter on a label means almost nothing across two different manufacturers, and we print on blanks from several. Five minutes with a tape measure is worth more than any chart on this page.

Measure something you already own

This is the whole method, and it works for every garment we sell.

  1. 1Find a garment you already likeNot one you own — one you actually reach for. The fit you already know beats any chart.
  2. 2Lay it flat and measure across the chestSeam to seam, just under the armholes, with the fabric flat and not stretched. Double that number: that is the chest measurement a size chart is quoting.
  3. 3Measure the lengthFrom the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. This is the measurement people forget, and it is usually why a tee feels wrong even when the chest is right.
  4. 4Match, then round upCompare both numbers against the sizes on the product page. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one — cotton loses a little length in a hot wash and never gains it back.

Where the real numbers are

Each product page lists the sizes that item is available in, taken from the manufacturer of that specific blank. Those are the numbers to measure against — not a site-wide chart, which would have to be wrong for most of the catalog to be right for any of it.

TO CONFIRM: per-blank measurement tables on the product page, once the catalog mirror includes garment dimensions

How the cuts run

Unisex tees and hoodies are cut straight rather than tapered, with a wider body and a shorter sleeve than a fitted shirt in the same letter size. If you prefer something close to the body, take a size down. If you want the boxier look the product photos show, stay where you are.

Prints, posters and everything not worn

Print sizes are the paper dimensions, quoted before framing. Check the orientation as well as the size — a design laid out for portrait will be cropped, not rotated, if it is ordered in landscape.

TO CONFIRM: whether framed options are offered, and in which regions

Still not sure

Send us the two measurements you took and the item you are looking at, and we will tell you which size we would order. It costs us nothing and it saves a return that, for a made-to-order piece, is genuinely awkward for both of us.
