Shipping

Nothing here sits in a warehouse waiting for you — it is printed after you order it. So an order runs on two clocks: the time it takes to make, and the time it takes to travel.

The short answers

What does shipping cost?
Calculated at checkout
Where do you ship?
6 countries
When do I get tracking?
When the parcel ships

Each of these is explained below, in the order a parcel happens.

What happens after you pay

Four stages, and your item only exists for the last two of them. The total time is production plus transit — which is why no single number on this page could be honest.

  1. 01

    Ordered

You pay, and the order is queued for production. Shipping and tax are settled at that moment, so the total you approve is the total you are charged.

  2. 02

    Printed

Your item does not exist yet. The order goes to a print provider — where one is available, the one closest to your delivery address — and is made from scratch for you.

  3. 03

    Shipped

The finished parcel is handed to a carrier and a tracking link is emailed to you. That email is the first moment there is anything to follow.

  4. 04

    Delivered

The carrier finishes the journey. Follow it from the tracking email or look the order up on the track page.

What shipping costs

There is no flat rate to quote here, and inventing one would be a lie. Shipping on a made-to-order item is priced by the print provider that makes it and by where it is going — the same hoodie printed in Europe for a European address and printed in the US for an American one are two different journeys with two different prices.

So the figure is worked out from your delivery address and what is actually in your bag, then shown as its own line before you pay. Until an address exists there is genuinely nothing to calculate, which is exactly what your bag says.

The total you approve is the total you are charged. An order whose paid amount disagrees with its own total is refused rather than quietly fulfilled, so nothing is added after you have seen the number.

Where we ship

Over 90 countries, through the print provider network rather than from one building.

Printed near you where we can

Printify routes an order to a print provider close to the delivery address where one is available — so a parcel crosses as few borders as it can. Where no nearby provider makes that item, it travels further, and the shipping quote reflects the journey it actually takes.

One order, sometimes two parcels

A t-shirt and a mug are not made by the same machines, and often not in the same building. When an order is split across providers each parcel ships from where it was made and carries its own tracking, so one arriving before the other is normal and is not a sign anything went wrong.

Tracking reaches you when the parcel leaves

A tracking link is emailed the moment the parcel is handed to the carrier — not when the order is placed, because until it is printed there is nothing to track. If no tracking email has arrived, the parcel has not shipped yet. You can also look an order up by number.

Track an order

If something is not right

Three things go wrong often enough to be worth writing down, and all three are fixed faster the sooner you tell us.

The address is wrong

Write to us straight away. An order is handed to the print facility very soon after payment, and once a label exists the parcel belongs to the carrier. A missing apartment number or postcode is the most common reason a parcel comes back.

It arrived damaged or wrong

That one is ours to fix. A photograph of the item and of the packing slip is enough for the print facility to trace which press it came off — the returns page explains what happens next.

The order could not be fulfilled

A print provider can reject an order after payment — an unreachable address, an item discontinued mid-run. When that happens the order stops there and we get in touch, rather than leaving you waiting on a parcel that was never made.
